Rattan Bookcases
Rattan is a cutting edge choice for bookcases. It consists
of woven fibers, not unlike wicker bookcases. Rattan can have an informal look,
but depending on how you decorate and how you
iintegrate it into your bookcase scheme, it can have a
retro, "colonial" look for your book cases. Rattan differs from bamboo in that
it is a solid, rather than hollow fiber; it comes from one of the
more distant areas of the world, Indonesia. Molton Bookcases
does not produce rattan bookcases; we stick with more traditional solid woods,
such as cherry, oak and mahogany, for bookshelves.
